Stardust Floor Protection Mat Set of 10 – 10 m² for your training area
With the set of 10 Stardust floor protection mats with a 5% EPDM overlayer, you can create a continuous area for equipment or free weights in your home gym or fitness studio. Each mat measures 1000 × 1000 mm and covers a total of 10 m² according to nominal dimensions. You will receive all ten mats in your chosen thickness of 15 or 20 mm.
The additional hot-laminated top layer has a particularly smooth surface with cream-white EPDM speckling. This makes dust, chalk, and minor dirt less noticeable than on solid black rubber mats.

Benefits at a glance
-
Ten mats for a uniform area: suitable for equipping multiple training areas or a continuous equipment area.
-
Durable top layer: firmly bonded to the rubber base through hot lamination.
-
Non-slip surface: for equipment areas and training with free weights.
-
Sound and vibration damping: helps dampen training noise and vibrations.
-
Cuttable and expandable: can be cut to fit room boundaries and supplemented as needed with individual Stardust floor protection mats.
15 or 20 mm – which thickness is right for your area?
Choose 15 mm if you primarily set up strength training equipment, a power rack, or a weight bench and carefully lower weights. Here, floor protection under the equipment is the main focus. The lower profile makes transitions to adjacent flooring and planning under doors easier. The individual mats are also easier to transport and cut.
Choose 20 mm if dumbbells and barbells are regularly lowered and you want additional impact and vibration damping. This is particularly interesting for areas where free weight training is the focus. Take the greater profile height and higher weight into account during transport and installation.
Important: Even 20 mm does not provide blanket approval for dropping weights. The substrate, flooring construction, weight, and drop height must be considered separately.
Area planning and cutting
The ten mats can be arranged, for example, into a 2 × 5 m area according to nominal dimensions. Plan based on your actual floor plan: cuts for walls, columns, or alcoves can reduce the usable area. For larger areas, you can plan for additional individual mats of the same thickness.
To cut, use a sharp utility knife and a sturdy guide rail. Make several shallow cuts and then remove any loose rubber particles.
For sensitive flooring: Clarify material compatibility with the manufacturer of your existing flooring before installation. The top layer does not prevent direct contact between the rubber underside and the substrate. If necessary, a separation layer suitable for both materials should be provided.
Stardust or Standard – which set is right for you?
The 10-piece Standard Floor Protection Mat Set has a classic black granulated surface. Stardust adds an additional, particularly smooth top layer and cream-white EPDM speckling to the rubber base.
Stardust is particularly suitable if the appearance of a continuous training area is important to you and dust or chalk should be less noticeable. A higher permissible load capacity cannot be inferred from the additional top layer alone.
You can find other versions under Floor protection mats for home gym and fitness studio.
REACH compliance and flammability
For the 20 mm version, a REACH compliance declaration is provided. The flammability of this version is classified as Efl.
Note on the material-specific odor
Rubber mats have a material-specific odor. This can be particularly noticeable in small or poorly ventilated rooms. Take this into account when equipping a larger area and ensure regular air exchange – especially in training rooms without windows.
